Per TPM GOP still blocking hearings on Global Warming. And it is global warming. Might as well call it as it is.

While the country burns the GOP is doubling down on denial.

5. Where I live it certainly is not Global Warming

We are setting records for cold and wet. May was the coldest and wettest May on record and so was June. So far July is doing the exact same thing. Coldest and wettest July so far on record.....Send some of that sun up this way would you?

6. Better call it climate change

Try to start getting them used to that term, or the people that are finally catching on will revert come winter to "global warming? Global warming? It's freezing. There isn't any global warming. That was just an El Nino caused heat wave, this summer."

I remember one tea partier spewing last year that it was freezing, so it couldn't be global warming. When someone said "It's Climate Change", the tea partier said "you can't change the words like that" They had no prescript for that. lol. Climate change covers all the irradic weather.

It was somewhere here on the internets.
