Maybe Romney was retroactively too old (or is it too young) to serve. ananda Jul 2012 #9

I'd prefer they didn't. There's far too much good material that's current. HopeHoops Jul 2012 #10

Since Obama was using the old "I'm six years old" ploy to dodge the draft, it's kind of a wash.

Actually, he was conceived in '48 but the Kenyan masterminds froze his zygote to make Romney look bad.

I would save it for September, after the convention, if he survives through it.

I can't understand how any veteran would support this man. How can they reconcile the fact that he demonstrated in support of the war and then dodged the draft?

he would claim he was doing his missionary work. Besides people hated that war and many parents and kids could sympathize with trying to avoid going.

Don...you may get your answer sooner than you know.

Willard and the Mrs. are on their way to the Olympics and a big European National Lampoon vacation (I can see the dog atop the Puegot) that is supposed to make Mittens look "presidential on a world stage"...similar to the trip President Obama took in '08 (which the rushpublicans ridiculed but whose really paying attention?).

I see Willard trying to get some positive coverage while the Olympics are rolling...and I can't see how his wife's participation won't be the kindling for tons of political roasting.

Ya know...I think we're passed the time where Vietnam service is a factor in the elections. Booooosh & cheney were able to skate by with their dodging serving and a larger portion of the electorate is now from the post-Vietnam era. I see other follies ahead as the Rmoneys make fools of themselves on an international scale...

There are some things (like his tax returns) that Mitt has kept secret. This is already widely known.
