I've got a better chance than word salad sarah does. I talk with a slow southern drawl that will put an audience right to sleep. I'd be a shoo-in no doubt
Hell when I was in boot camp I'd have 20 maybe 30 guys around me at night listening to every word I'd say or thats what I thought then one day I realized they were just listening to my voice not what I was saying.

I keep saying this but I think it's relevant.

PNAC was a coup in the Republican party.
Bush, Jr. is now toxic to the GOP.
Palin was not vetted.
Romney was not vetted.

See the pattern? The GOP truly is drying up and blowing away. We just need to make sure it happens faster.

Could we see Newt as the candidate? Or one of the others who were still standing near the end?

The Powers That Be in the GOP would rather see someone stronger than any of those, I'm sure.

There is so much money in this, he has sold his soul to the corporate gods.

If he knows that Obama is going to reveal information that will be devestating, he may drop out. On the other hand, would the GOP billionaires pump money into his campaign if they knew he was potentially unelectable?

The coming weeks and months are going to be history making. Stay strong Team Obama! WE GOT THIS!

the dem nom in 08. He knew he had baggage and he was too full of himself and his entitled life to think it would come out. It always comes out.
If he had not been outed when he was, he very well may have gotten the dem. nomination. Then this kind of shit would be happening to us.
Romney was just as big a fool to think his shit don't stink either.

Of course it's very funny happening to them but would have been a disaster to the country if it had happened to us in 08

But no, I don't think Romney will go quietly away and let them replace him. He is too used to getting what he wants with his money.

the DEMs. He will say nothing about the contents of his tax files. rMoney may try to swing his delegates to Paul Ryan, but I think the convention will blow wide open. I previously thought this was a DEM mistake to press rMoney this hard, but the Obama Campaign has done such a good job in strategy that I think they see something beyond what I see. Maybe if the GOP convention explodes, they are reduced to hand-to-hand combat, and they are very bitter about the final selection, that could deliver a filibuster proof DEM Senate and a DEM House. All of that possible because rMoney overplayed his hand.
