If the LIBOR scandal becomes a prominent issue here in the States before the election...

...what sort of effect do you think it would have politically?

On the one hand, you could say it would be a negative for the present administration, ie, "bank abuses allowed to continue by submissive, coddling government".

On the other hand, Romney's whole persona is the 'big business guy'. He's sort of a Wall Street poster boy.
