You can't get on the voter roles to begin with unless you can prove who you are and where you live. The roles are fine and you have to sign your name next to your printed name to vote. The problem isn't voter fraud. The problem is that less than half of the eligible voters even BOTHER to vote. THAT'S what we need to focus on. It's been illegal NOT TO VOTE in Australia for over 20 years. If anything, we should make voting mandatory. My middle daughter isn't going to vote in November and that makes me sad, but she's an adult. It's her choice. I'd rather have a system where it was required but that's not how it is right now.
