According to the latest Gallup Poll,
-- Americans' concerns about the threat of big government continue to dwarf those about big business and big labor, and by an even larger margin now than in March 2009. The 64% of Americans who say big government will be the biggest threat to the country is just one percentage point shy of the record high, while the 26% who say big business is down from the 32% recorded during the recession. Relatively few name big labor as the greatest threat.
Almost half of Democrats now say big government is the biggest threat to the nation, more than say so about big business, and far more than were concerned about big government in March 2009. The 32% of Democrats concerned about big government at that time -- shortly after President Obama took office -- was down significantly from a reading in 2006, when George W. Bush was president.
How in the hell could any democrat buy into that "big government" bullshit and what can we do to stop it??

....one of those polls that doesn't tell you much without context.
For example, the piece states:
This shows that the current level isn't unusual. The concern for big business surged to 32 percent (see below) after the current economic collapse.
People are marching in the streets over inequality and Wall Street greed. Poll after poll shows strong support for taxing the rich, regulating the banks (Wall Street reform was the most popular legislation passed with 60% from the day it was signed) and ending loopholes for greedy corporations.
There is, however, another side of the concern with government that cannot be contrasted with the concern about big business, and that's in the area of civil liberties.
Here's another chart from the piece in the OP:
Everyone knows why Republicans' numbers jumped (Kenyan socialist President), but Independent's have stayed fairly constant.
The numbers for Democrats dropped then went climbed back up. I suspect that the concern is about overreach in terms of civil liberties.
All in all it's misleading. What we need to know is what the respondents are concerned about.
Sort of like the polls on health care that show a majority disapprove of the reform law, but that number includes people who want it expanded and those who want it repealed.
Context matters.
