GOP better get this dumpster fire under control or they will suffer the wrath. Markets are going to crash on Monday. They have MAJOR unrest in cities all over the country that was completely avoidable. Bannon and his minions loves the drama, but the business guys and GOP pols who are going to run in the next few years will not. We are howling at the MOON in Charlotte, so furious and fired up that volunteer groups are already organizing in PREPARATION for Dem candidates who have not even declared yet om races that are a year or two away. The Muslim Ban and this horrible, crazy roll out is like gasoline on a fire that already burns bright.
They better be ready to start shooting peaceful protesters in the streets if they can't get rid of Bannon and stabilize their crazy leader because we MAD and we are not going away.

(4,742 posts)MONDAY! I wish we could organize a national strike. A non-work day. Something. Let's shut this fucking country down for a few days and really shove it. You know the righties are all stock holders, mutual fund lovers, etc. Let's hit them hard.

(11,243 posts)He is the menace that the GOP can take out without riling the base and going through an impeachment hearing. That isn't happening yet. But this could. The man is pure, unadulterated evil and WAY smarter than Trump. He is manipulating his mentally unstable boss for his own ends.

(2,856 posts)It's a bit lengthy but, it will open your eyes to what Bannon's real objective is. Trump is only in it for the title, perks and glory. Bannon's way over the edge!

(70,589 posts)Because mainstream Republicans and conservatives have abandoned the cause and accepted things like gay marriage and multiculturalism, the Alt-Right Traditionalists needed to find a new ally and they found a powerful ally in Putin. The Alt-Right thinks that Putin will be their new Traditionalist hero as they have been marginalized by the Republicans and Conservatives of the West. Here are some articles on this alliance:
1. www.washingtonpost.com
2. talkingpointsmemo.com/...
3. www.thedailybeast.com
4.www.businessinsider.com/...
The Alt-Right believes that Putin has done a good job imposing Traditionalism in Russia. They applaud him for his stance on gays and liberal Western multiculturalism. Putins Chief Strategist, Alexander Dugin, has become the intellectual hero of Alt-Right Traditionalists around the world.

(11,243 posts)We can take him out without pissing off the rank and file. His racist pepe worshiping shitposters will pop a vein, but they are the fringe, or should be. Let's put them back where they belong.
Trump will go when it is time. Bannon is way smarter that Trump anyway. Imagine if Rove was forced out before Bush's second term.

(11,243 posts)This kind of instability is not the thing that markets like. People who give money to PACs who fund our political world since Citizens United will be mad. They can make Bannon go away if they push. :fingerscrossed:

(21,088 posts)A market crash is one of the intended consequences of this. Bannon and Dugin are calling the shots now, and they are ideologues, not money-mas.

(49,045 posts)Bannon wants an alt-right neofascist takeover.
Putin wants to neuter the US by making it unstable and tied up internally with a massive fustercluck so that he can move in Europe and the Middle East.
In the meantime, tRump is ready to hand Putin goodies for payback for helping steal the election: namely lifting of sanctions.
If this goes on too long, China will be a big beneficiary and emerge as a replacement world leader.
If Bannon-Pence and their stooge Ryan allow the Republican Party to kick the UN headquarters out of the US, China will invite them in.

(3,650 posts)I remember the days when billboards about "Get the US out of the UN" were all over the South. Maybe now the John Birch fools will get their way and end up with their feet in their mouths.

(11,243 posts)Social conservative like Pence are betting they can use the chaos as a means to move their anti-woman, anti-gay agenda forward. They are all looking the other way on the white supremacist vandal, hoping they can use the mess he is making as distraction from their own little battles.
It's a really sick, corrupt little coalition. We need to start holding anyone who is complicit in Bannon's mayhem electorally accountable, moderates included. They need to speak against this guy and get him away from any lever of power before we are all goose stepping and bowing down to either out Russian or Chinese overlords.
Wonder if the white supremacist crew has thought through the reality that CHINA, not white people, could end up the big winner in their little games.
