One of her best segments ever, out of many outstanding reports.

(20,998 posts)Senator McCain,
I believe there is now qualified circumstantial evidence that indicates that Russia/Putin did indeed conspire to influence the recent American Presidential election for the benefit of Donald Trump.
THIS IS AN OUTRAGE! Further, it is my opinion that Rex Tillerson CANNOT BE DEPENDED UPON to act in the best interests of the United States, and his confirmation as Secretary of State SHOULD BE AVOIDED AT ALL COSTS.
In short, Sir, I believe Donald Trump is a Russian asset, as is most likely Steve Bannon. And further believe Tillerson also may be compromised.
I implore you Senator, to HOLD THE LINE. We are at a most dangerous juncture in our nation's history. And if we as a people do not act carefully, we will bear the negative consequences for decades to come.
Sir, I am a PROUD ARIZONA DEMOCRAT, and I did not vote for you. However, Sir, I do not question your love of this country. I believe, that you Sir, are an American patriot without question. And I BEG YOU, please do everything you can to derail the confirmation of Tillerson as Secretary of State. And further, Sir, I beg you to vigorously support an INDEPENDENT, COMPREHENSIVE INQUIRY of the Presidential election.
I believe there are traitors in our midst and potentially at the highest levels of our American government.
Sincerely,
******

(4,308 posts)I remember his calm efforts during one of his meetings to counteract these rumors. When a crazy woman Republicon yelled that Obama was really a Muslim extremist, McCain held her eyes in a steady gaze until the yelling stopped and then said, "No, that is not true."

(20,998 posts)Fearing the raw and at times angry emotions of his supporters may damage his campaign, John McCain on Friday urged them to tone down their increasingly personal denunciations of Barack Obama, including one woman who said she had heard that the Democrat was "an Arab."
Each time he tried to cool the crowd, he was rewarded with a round of boos.
"I have to tell you. Sen. Obama is a decent person and a person you dont have to be scared of as president of the United States," McCain told a supporter at a town hall meeting in Minnesota who said he was scared of the prospect of an Obama presidency and of who the Democrat would appoint to the Supreme Court.
Come on, John! one audience member yelled out as the Republican crowd expressed dismay at their nominee. Others yelled "liar," and "terrorist," referring to Obama.
McCain passed his wireless microphone to one woman who said, "I can't trust Obama. I have read about him and he's not, he's not uh he's an Arab. He's not " before McCain retook the microphone and replied:
"No, ma'am. He's a decent family man [and] citizen that I just happen to have disagreements with on fundamental issues and that's what this campaign's all about. He's not {an Arab}."

(20,998 posts)...he can be a formidable ally or enemy. I do NOT agree with many things McCain has done, chief among them, depriving President Barrack Obama from legally and lawfully selecting the Justice of the SCOTUS, as was Obama's right. I also do not approve of his stating that if Clinton did win, he was in favor of not allowing her to fill the SCOTUS Justice slot. All of that said, McCain has served this Country, bled for this Country and damn-near died for this Country. I do NOT question his love of Country or his patriotism. I would love to see a "triumvirate" of McCain, Flake and Graham band together to help check the tRump* threat.

(7,142 posts)They already have an excuse lined up. They claim the cyber security guy who got bagged had nothing to do with cyber security.
I'm just hammering them with this, saying that their hero is a Putin puppet.
Oh and they laughed about Trump canning the career state department people so I tied that part in also, saying that Trump needed to remove loyal Americans so that he had a smoother transition to remove the sanctions on Russia.
This is scandalous, terrible news, but I am only one of about 5 progressives who post on this web site, so I'm in my glory tonight.
They will have to wait to see how Breitbart and InfoWars respond to this so they have talking points.

Which raises the question in my mind: Many of these tRump* supporters, especially the connected, intelligent and WEALTHY ones (Mercers), have to know of tRump*'s shady Russian connections (or at least strongly suspect) and still supported him... why?

The obvious question or assertion "Is Trump being blackmailed?"
If so he must be removed while we still have a country.
