It looks like this Tweet was used as a "device" to garner an outpouring of phone calls. It's working but the implications it makes seems to be a bad one.
I apologize for not better sourcing it yesterday when I posted. But please still consider communicating on the issue via Twitter or email since there have been numerous reports of busy signals and no voicemail.

Let me preface my remarks by saying that in ordinary circumstances a president should be able to pick his or her Cabinet. This isn't ordinary times. The only appointee I would have approved is General Mattis.

(45,806 posts)there is a very serious reason not to. Maybe some of the newer ones don't respect that code, but the long term ones do. Dianne & Jeffry Beauregard (sorry, had to type the name, it's soo funny to me) Sessions have worked together for a very long time and she hasn't heard anything he's done recently to change her vote.

(34,174 posts)It is getting decent airtime in GA. I don't know about the rest of the country, but if you were to believe it you would think Sessions was a moderate and good friends with Joe Biden and John Lewis.
I'll look for it.

(40,212 posts)When she started out in politics, in the early years in San Francisco, I think she was very liberal. She became well known after Harvey Milk was murdered. In the years since, she and her husband became very rich. Money changes some people.
