So Romney went to dinner with Trump for no reason?

Nobody is as humiliated and embarrassed than Mitt Romney, who gave up his opposition to Donald Trump because he thought he would become the Secretary of State.
It looks like Trump just wanted to embarrass Romney by pretending he had a chance.

He is just another craven sellout who thought that he could obtain power by kissing the ring of Trump.

...Mitt has tRump shit all over his face and Don the Con is ABSOLUTELY RELISHING humiliating Mittens. tRump NEVER had any intention of offering Mitt the SOS position... he just wanted to see Rmoney grovel... and as publicly as possible.

tRump is a narcissist and a psychopath. He relishes humiliating anyone that speaks or acts against him. Seriously, LOOK AT TRUMP'S FACE!.. that is EVIL out-to-dinner.

They both make the trek to the top of the Tower of Power for a meeting, first Rudy, later Christie.

turns out....Rudy claimed he had turned down several offers of positions ( cause whichever one he wanted was not gonna go to him)
and so Rudy says (note this, it is important:
" Well, I decided to turn down offers for a few positions because I really want to work and stay in New York"

Later it is revealed that the press statement was actually written by Trump's team!

Ok, so yesterday, Christie says the exact thing!
"Turned down offers for several cabinet positions, etc"

Imagine that...2 of the most attention grabbing politicians claim they turned down jobs that would keep them in the national limelight.

trump must have enjoyed that as much as he enjoyed frog legs with Mitt.

This is not a normal politician. Cheeto is pathological, petty, and holds grudges. The only thing mitt had left was scant integrity in which he promptly handed over to his nemesis for a plate of frog legs. Way to go, Mitt.

I disagree with Romney on many things but he seemed like a decent person. Why he went crawling to the Donald for a job as Secretary of State I will never know. Romney is rich enough where he doesn't need the job and can tell Trump to pound sand. But he went to this meeting and ended up getting humiliated. These Republicans are spineless.
