Since right-wingers are so anti-abortion, why don't they set up "pro-life" women's health centers?

After all, for women in many parts of the country, the "baby-killers" at Planned Parenthood are the only game in town.

Why don't they help women out with their reproductive health and family planning? After all, I can't possibly imagine that the "pro-life" crowd have any negative feelings about women...

I don't get how they can claim to be pro-life while making sure to shred the saftey net that protects so many of the nations children. These people aren't pro life but anti female sexual independence; " First carry that baby you may not be able to support to term and then we'll punish you and the child with a potential lifetime of poverty".

it is evil because women are being tricked by their sweet syrupy caring facade and then realize too late that they are a bunch of religious nuts.

easily accessible BIRTH CONTROL.... combined with a cultural shift that makes people TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR THEIR SEXUALITY. Dont see anything remotely like this coming from right wing.

"Pro-life" IMHO is a perfectly respectable position to have. Its the puritanical mysogynistic hypocritical stupidity of some religious rw'ers that bugs the hell out of me. In fact I will go as far as to say that it is those people who are responsible for the confused and fearful mindset of so many people in this country... that leads to them not taking responsibility which then contributes to the high nos. of abortion (relative to other countries/cultures)

Part of the cultural shift would have to be developing some new, less toxic, better forms of birth control - reversible vasectomies or whatever.... I mean come on, this aint rocket science. Keeping those wily sperm away from eggs shouldnt be that difficult.
