Hey Newt, on behalf of Father Aloysius Schmitt - a Dubuque priest who died at Pearl Harbor...

(466 posts)I thought this was a fake account at first. I'm still scratching my head why he said this. I don't even consider myself super patriotic but seemingly praising Japan for killing Americans on the anniversary of Pearl Harbor is beyond insulting.

(17,863 posts)armed only with box cutters and fake bombs were able to kill nearly 3,000 infidels, destroy two multi billion dollar skyscrapers, and severely damage the seat of American military power - the Pentagon. A true testament to asymmetric warfare. Their actions changed to course of history since it led to the great Satan entering into two protracted wars killing almost another 10,000 infidels, and spending over $6T on fruitless campaigns against lightly armed brothers of Allah.

On Edit: We need to come up with a grade for not listening to the guy who planned it when he said this was a really bad idea.
Maybe zero for foresight?
