He let Donald hang himself but wrangled things in when it needed to be done. Was he perfect? No. But I was surprised at how much push back he gave to Donald, which in return, probably surprised Donald.

(1,017 posts)After the debate he almost didnt shake Lesters hand. I have to admit Lester did seem like he interrupted Trump a good bit. I think Trump will make an issue of this in the coming days and say the moderators arent fair.

(112 posts)Hillary for the first 15 to 20 minutes. Lester finally got himself together and at least tried to check Donald but he learned like everyone else that it is like holding back a raging stream.
However, Hillary did manage trump tonight!! She led him around like a spent bull. She kept him right where she wanted him the whole time. the woman is brilliant.

(12,591 posts)like, "What is your specific plan for bringing factories back from foreign countries?" and after Trump wandered all over the map about NAFTA and making America great and a dozen other subjects, Holt would say, "That did not answer my question: What is your specific plan for bringing factories back from foreign countries?"
That's Journalism 101. Ask the question. If the subject doesn't answer it, ask the question again. And again.
