The ceremony just ended with PBO's comments and the ringing of a bell by descendants of a slave. CSPAN says they will show it again in its entirety at 8PM tonight.

She sang the most luscious, soulful, serious rendition ... and then at the uplifting, melodious last line, "a change is gonna come," she raises her arms in the air, blurts out "Hillary Clinton!" and walks of the stage. It was a mic-drop moment, for sure. It was especially funny because of the uber-bipartisan, apolitical, fake respectful tone of the whole event to that point. It almost felt like sacrilege. So brave!

If I hadn't absolutely adored Patti LaBelle for so many years already, I could just hug her now

Hey Sister, Go Sister, Soul Sister, Go Sister!

A bad video (shot off someone's television screen, apparently, so you'll have to turn your volume way up), but a video nonetheless. The mic-drop moment starts near the end, at around 3:15

SUPERB!!!!! So delighted to hear this! We slept in this morning and didn't turn on the news for awhile. We caught what I'm guessing is the last half of President Obama's remarks, and we saw the ringing of the bell.

Patti LaBelle is WUNNNNNNNNNNNNderful. And has been so for a long time!
