(21,506 posts)A gun would not fall like that. That is clearly a glove or some soft object.

(49,212 posts)Unless there's some floppy, tiny gun that looks and moves exactly like a black nitrile glove.

(21,506 posts)That is such a leap it would be laughable if it wasn't so sad.
Cops are shooting far to many people no question, but this conspiracy crap on this video is complete nonsense. It gives an opening to people who are trying to deflect from the main point.
Had a gun, didn't have a gun, makes little to no difference, he should not have been shot regardless. Making silly stuff up only distracts from the fact he should not have been shot even if it was a gun. Cops are pulling the trigger far too quickly with a callous disregard for human life other than their own. That is the problem as I see it.
Let me ask you this. If a video is released that clearly shows him with a gun in his hand would it make you feel better about them shooting this man?
In my case it won't make a bit of difference unless a video is released showing him clearly pointing it at the officers.
Cops need more training on de escalation and much less on the use of overwhelming force. They could have easily let this guy sit in that car for hours while he was surrounded there was absolutely no need to force him out of the car in the manner they did.

(18,497 posts)It drops at his foot.
We got a drop on tape.
We later have images of the guy in red shirt standing on gun.
I don't have it right now but on TV they said that was how they guarded evidence.
Yeah. You know fuck holes. I think we may have been educated about evidence preservation over the last couple decades.
Plating your foot on a gun ain't part of that.

(21,506 posts)if you look at the video here

You can clearly see what you are saying the cop drops along with the glove at the 1:30 mark in that video behind the truck and behind red cop. Long before the glove drop. You can see the red cop back up into standing over it.
The misdirection stuff is nonsense.
One Black Sheep
(458 posts)that the cops planted the gun. Open and shut case, clearly.
That said, I wouldn't be surprised if they have high tech ways these days of disguising guns to look like gloves as well...check out the movie, "Existenz", it makes me wonder...

(18,497 posts)He probably kicked it to the guy in the red shirt that is filmed with it under his foot at one point.

(3,580 posts)Don't look at the gloves, look at the left foot on the inside by the heel.
alphafemale
(18,497 posts)It is right there. Right on camera.
And there is also a picture of the guy in the red shirt standing on it before it eventually ends up in the evidence photo.

(2,337 posts)I'm not aware of any gun on earth that flops and folds in on its self (much like a rubber glove! Shocking!) when dropped. Then again, who am I to doubt sherlock holmes and matlock from that FB post?
