So, The GOP is threatening Investigation-Gate Again? Do They Not Remember Clinton?

When they did all this crap to the Clintons their popularity soared. Do they think they will have better luck this time? That's a risky move right before an election. The Dems can easily pivot to Republicans are wasting time and money investigating rather than creating jobs.

2. The GOP is truly ungrateful. Don't they remember that Clinton signed Bush I's NAFTA?

That really created a great number of manufacturing jobs -- just not in this country.

The ungrateful GOP apparently doesn't even realize that President Obama signed three "free-trade" agreements (with South Korea, Colombia and Panama).

And the ungrateful GOP apparently doesn't even realize that the Administration is in the process of negotiating another "free-trade" agreement, one that some have called NAFTA on steriods.

That's what we need. More jobs.

Just for the sake of investigating and wasting the governments time and money?

Oh wait, that might be it, waste the governments time and money making it more inefficient thus driving the perception that government is a bad thing and should be eliminated.

Still people vote for these criminals.

with the same result as Clinton - impeachment. Hopefully, Democrats are wise enough to see through their game.

7. So If - Just By Chance - Someone In The WH Did Leak - Obama Needs To Immediately ......

find that person - fire him/her - make a point of how he doesn't tolerate leaks and will even make and example of one of his own. By doing this he basically takes the wind out of the sails of the Repugs and what could be a long running investigation by them to change the subject and make his administration ineffective.

The two "scandals" I've heard repeated by the right wingers the most are "Fast and Furious" (which to be honest did sound like something of a boneheaded scheme, but one that was started by a Republican administration) and Solyndra (a solar company that unfortunately went belly-up....if they want to investigate any company that gets tax dollars only to later go bankrupt, they could always start with Curt Schilling's video game company).

Neither of these "scandals" seem to implicate the President in any way, shape, or form. Just like Whitewater (which I still don't understand how President Clinton was somehow culpable....he was guilty of losing money in a land deal...whaa?) they think if they repeat some "scandal" enough people will somehow think the President is somehow involved, even if there is no actual evidence of that being the case.

9. I keep hearing about the leaks
Tue Jun 12, 2012, 01:02 PM

They feel the info which was leaked by "reliable WH source" is endangering our national security, our allies and putting in danger those who are helping us.

I am not sure how much it has hurt America, and don't know how much traction it will gather.

My first thought is didn't the Bush/Chaney administration leak info on more than one occasion?
