from 1980 to 1990 I was involved with our small towns police dept.
They started out with 6 cops.
There always was an attitude against people of color and women.
I was told women shouldn't be cops. period. Just dispatchers.
They had a reason for pulling people over
"contempt of cop"
and
"BBAD" Being black and driving.
Most of them had been x- military, especially x- MP's
always an attitude.
None of them deserved to be killed,
one was my best friend (the most open minded)
whom i was talking to when he died of a heart attack on the phone
aged 58 in 2010.
I miss him deeply.

And so is policing. This did nothing to to even establish frontier justice in Minnesota or Louisiana. A big minus.

It has lots of information useful in countering such misinformed persons. It is an extensive resource.
