Commentary for those not able to watch/listen to the Comey hearing

No bombshells, Comey calmly stating his reasoning.

Republicans to a person are outraged that he did not recommend charges. Each time he goes over the lack of intent and multiple times references other "experts" who claim enough evidence exists. Bluntly states that NO previous prosecutor has filed charges in a similar case.

Democrats, to a person, first thank Comey for his service and integrity. And the latest one just noted, that only ONE republican has offered him thanks for his service.

I don't thank him for his unsolicited snarky personal opinions. It's quite obvious that he loathes Clinton and her staff and would like to see them all behind bars, much the same way I feel about Bush/Cheney. But since I don't get to stand up in front of the entire nation and give my personal opinions, neither should he. That's not what my tax dollars pay him to do.

Just the facts, sir. All other opinions should be directed to your bartender.

he says she should have known the emails were classified because of the small c imbedded in the email itself. In the next breath he acknowledges that none of those emails had the classified header at the top that it should have. But somehow she was sloppy in her handling of those emails.
