Trump is totally crushing Clinton in the all-important campaign infrastructure category of hat buying.

I'd think they're the most popular item of Trump clothing - the campaign makes a big thing of them. It's not that surprising to me.

Granted, we see many photos of people wearing them but do we know if those hats were purchased by individual supporters? Perhaps the bulk of those hats were given away by the campaign. You know, like the way right-wing authors get to claim high sales due to bulk purchases by right-wing organizations.

but I'd expect they sell wherever possible - Trump is about making money, after all. Why give the suckers an even break?

The man is greedy above all. Then again, as proposed below, perhaps the campaign buys them from a company owned by cheeto-jesus? I swear I read somewhere else that numerous campaign expenditures are paid out to his properties.

I'm not denying the fact that those damned hats are ubiquitous. I just question whether or not they are generating measurable revenue for his presidential campaign.
