Constitution allows buying an AR15. It doesn't guarantee you the right to fly if you buy one. Freelancer Jun 2016 #8

And they need to be alerted when a suspected individual goes to buy a gun so they can investigate further.

They are fooling us - they don't really mean it. They just issued that statement to make money today . .. tomorrow they will say the opposite.

so F' them. I don't care what they think, say or believe. They've proven to care not for me, my family or my rights. So F' them and the people that support them. F them all. They cause people to die for no reason and serve no purpose in a just society. They pretend to, but they don't. Ever. End of story.

It's time to go at this from another angle. The constitution may guarantee the right to bear arms (those poor bears -- the horror!) but it doesn't guarantee the right to fly, to drive, to hunt, or even to fish. A license grants those privileges. Criteria for denial of those privileges can be changed, even if the constitution cannot.

Instead of deciding whether a person on the 'No Fly List' can buy an assault style weapon, maybe the buying of such a weapon should PUT you on the 'No Fly List'. If it's a choice between owning an assault weapon, and ever flying again, a lot of people would forego that purchase for practical reasons.
