(23 posts)I believe that a lot of the energy behind the Trump movement is simply misplaced anger. Trump saw an opportunity, and took it. He became so successful by giving his base something to blame, like minorities, etc. This kind of Charismatic takeover always follows close behind legitimate frustration.
