It costs an extra $100k to make a cell phone tower look like trees and other things

http://www.atlasobscura.com/articles/take-a-look-at-americas-least-convincing-cell-phone-tower-trees
The bizarre endeavor has been going on for years, since 1992, and has even stretched to other parts of the world.
In America there are around 2,000 towers masked as trees.
It costs an extra $100,000 to build the branches and leaves, on top of the $3,000 it takes to build the tower itself.

There are entire websites dedicated to mapping these towers, such as Waymarking and CellTowerPhotos. What do you think of these attempts at concealment? Do you prefer to just see a plain tower or do you support companies’ attempts to blend in with their surroundings as best as possible

I think that I shall never see
A graph more lovely than a tree.
A tree whose crucial property
Is loop-free connectivity.
A tree that must be sure to span
So packets can reach every LAN.
First, the root must be selected.
By ID, it is elected.
Least-cost paths from root are traced.
In the tree, these paths are placed.
A mesh is made by folks like me,
Then bridges find a spanning tree.
