(This is a second try post this with the name of a candidate removed as the post was blocked by tammywammy.) The stupid fuckers wouldn't listen -- so let them asphixiate ocean and land animals, and eventually the whole world. The information provided at the link was funded by the National Science Foundation and published in the American Geophysical Union journal Global Biogeochemical Cycles. One presidential candidate has made this a first priority calling it a "dire emergency". The National Science Foundation has just released a report showing that climate is changing more and more rapidly as non-linear processes accelerate the damage. Loss of oxygen is one of the most serious problems surfacing in my lifetime, getting worse with each passing year. That is why this presidential election is so critically important. It may already be too late, but if not, the steps to stop it must be drastic, and immediate. http://www.eurekalert.org/pub_releases/2016-04/nsf-ept042916.php Bernardo de La Paz hotly criticized my original post saying that the paper was not discussing ATMOSPHERIC oxygen, but only ocean oxygen. I asked him to read the paper and he said he did. What he missed was this easily found quote from the paper: The entire ocean -- from the depths to the shallows -- gets its oxygen supply from the surface , either from the atmosphere or from phytoplankton, which release oxygen into the water through photosynthesis.
