Why does anybody believe anything they are told by the GOP in Florida?

Of course the election supervisors aren't going to tell a teevee reporter if they plan to defy the DOJ. Maybe they will stop, and maybe they won't. I take anything they say with a grain of salt.

It amazes me that what they say is being hailed as the Gospel Truth. This is how and why they get ahead. We gullibly believe what somebody tells us from the RWnutjobs. If they told me it was dark at midnight, I would carry sunglasses along with a flashlight and check.

I have had a lot of practice living in SC. I assume they are lying, not telling the whole story, or saying things some other way. I never start with the assumption they are telling the truth. It saves time.

Here is what I posted when Scott first started his defiance:

Unless the DOJ is a physical presence and makes it known they are looking, the GOPeas will do anything to win. Even then they will still be up to something.

And frankly, going on national television to say "We are absolutely not going to do this, the governor is asking us to break the law and we refuse, so he can go stuff it" seems a little bit... risky.

I'm not taking it as gospel truth, but I'm willing to extend some benefit of hte doubt... and still expect the DoJ to do their job.
