It would be a shame if something happened to it ... Like allowing posters to call Democrats who endorsed HRC over Bernie bought-and-paid-for sell-outs. Like allowing posters to proclaim they will NOT vote Democrat in the GE if Bernie isnt the nominee, and encouraging others to sit out the election, write-in Bernie, or vote for a third party. Like allowing the posting of RW propaganda directly sourced from RW publications, authors, pundits, and journalists for the sole purpose of undermining the Democratic Party. Like allowing the Democratic frontrunner and obvious nominee (HRC) to be called a Republican, a Wall Street whore, a career criminal, a corporate shill, a bribe-taking water-carrier for the 1%, a lying warmonger bent on sending US soldiers to certain death, the murderer of every man, woman and child killed in Iraq, who in addition to all of the above is guilty of money-laundering, while her campaign is stealing the election through all kinds of nefarious means. Like allowing posters to repeatedly state that Hillary Clinton cant possibly win the GE, how she will be indicted on criminal charges any day now, and posting RW talking points about how she will be impeached on her first day in office, no less. Like allowing posters to repeatedly state that the HRC campaign, the DNC, and the PTB in the Democratic Party are directly responsible for voting irregularities across the country, and are engaging in criminal activity in order to keep Bernie from winning the nomination. Like allowing BS supporters to state that AAs are low-info voters suffering from Stockholm Syndrome, and that Democrats in red states should not have their voices heard because their state will not vote blue in the GE. Like allowing a jury system to determine what is acceptable to be posted, knowing that the jury pool consists of 85% Bernie supporters who vote to hide anything negative about Bernie. Like allowing posters to post the most vile personal attacks against HRC supporters, and allowing the aforementioned juries to let those personal attacks stand. Like telling jurors they are not expected to enforce the TOS which means they are free to do whatever they want, whether its against DUs rules or not. Yeah, it would be a shame if Democratic Underground became the go-to site for RWers, Paulbots, and Trump supporters to peddle their wares, knowing they wont meet any resistance from the sites owner. It would be a damned shame if that happened too bad it already has. The honourable thing to do here would be, at the very least, to change the sites name. There is nothing Democratic, no less Democratic-supporting, about what goes on here. There is nothing Democratic about allowing outright, already-debunked lies about the Party and its members to be posted here day-in and day-out. There is nothing Democratic about allowing posts that label the entire Democratic Party as corrupt, its elected representatives as corrupt, and its members as being part of a conspiracy that allows such corruption to flourish. Enough is enough. As a long-time member of the Democratic Party, I am truly appalled by what you have allowed to be posted here while maintaining the ridiculous notion that DU is supporting Democrats. To put it rather indelicately, the time to shit or get off the pot has expired. Either youre running a Democratic-supporting site or youre not. I think we both know that the answer to that question has already been made abundantly clear.

The attitude that she is already elected is very upsetting to people. She is not the nominee yet and so you push it and push it like those that don't agree must concede and agree. The primary is not over.
