After watching Bernie in several debates now, I am very impressed. He answers questions really well, knows his stuff, and is passionate in his positions. He is not afraid of labeling or apologetic for his positions. His personality comes through and he seems very real.
I have to say that I believe he is electable in a general election and more Americans will vote for him than any republican candidate.

I don't think your question can possibly have a useful answer at the moment.

(54,005 posts)Her claim to being the "ultimate outsider" because she's a woman just rings false with me. In part because that message undercuts her number one advantage a candidate: having been in the center of power for so long and understanding how to do the job from up close.

(14,564 posts)You hit on one of the two things I note when I say I am supporting him.
He is right on the issues.
He is't not afraid to state his positions, unapologetically.
Hill has been too damaged in the primary and IMO would get destroyed by Rubio. It would be really ugly but she would have a chance against Cruz or Trump.
Bernie would probably be an underdog against Rubio, but would have a better shot than Hillary.
I don't have a real sense how he would play against Trump or Cruz specifically, but would probably fare better than Hillary now, again, because he has been so damaged in the primary.
