State Democrats will no longer honor the memories of famous slave owners — one of them also an Indian fighter — in their annual fundraising dinner.

The Democratic State Central Committee has voted to change the name of the traditional Jefferson Jackson Bailey Dinner to the “Connecticut Democratic Progress Dinner” ...
