Bundimaniacs are going to usurp Hands Up Don't Shoot

Report: Militia Spokesman LaVoy Finicum 'was shot three times while he had his hands up in the air...'

http://americanpowerblog.blogspot.com/2016/01/report-militia-spokesman-lavoy-finicum.html

They are citing this LA Times article, which apparently scrubbed the the "hands up" part that allegedly reads:

"Ammon Bundy told his wife in a phone call that the group had been cooperative. He told her that Finicum was shot three times while he had his hands up in the air, according to Nevada state Assemblywoman Michele Fiore, who spoke with the wife of Ammon Bundy, the son of a renegade Nevada rancher and a leader of the group.."

9:34 p.m.: The story was updated with information on the man killed during the confrontation with law enforcement officers.

Ammon Bundy was 1 mile away, being arrested, when Finicum was shot. So how did he see that? DetlefK Jan 2016 #18

They want to claim to be "never surrender, stand your ground" manly types, who would rather die than be jailed...so an attempt to pivot to poor little surrendering victims...someone may revive the old slander against the French, add a slam on the request for snacks and call them "nacho-cheese eating surrender monkeys"

This shit has traction. Some here are extremely naive.

Yeah, that'll show everyone who's boss!

90% of the people in the USA don't even know this shit went down, the rest just don't care very much. The less press they get, the better!

to any relevent human beings is just ignorant.

No one gives a crap about these bundifiers, and no one of any importance could possibly take seriously a bunch of guys who couldn't even manage to Forest Gump their way through the mess they've made.

They're nothing but a joke and should be treated as such. Laugh and point; that's what ya do with ignorant bullies.

There's a whole world out there you forgot about. They're creating a mythology. They have politicians tweeting about cold blooded murder and Moses. You've way underestimated their numbers.

How is this even controversial? This place is always good for a laugh.

rotary dial telephones and CB radios. They can barely speak English, they have no useable, transferable modern, technical skills to survive more than 2 weeks without some sort of government subsistance racket they're sucking off of.

They're luddites, living and acting like they live in the stone age and the best thing they can do all day is walk around holding their gawd given guns like they're holding their dicks -- because that's the most important thing they own.

These people aren't the future and they have no place in it. Fearing them and giving them any sort of importance is really a waste of everyone's time.

The only thing they'll ever be good for is employing the prison guards who will soon be deciding what time they can eat and sleep.

Point and laugh hysterically. They're all Darwins!

Some of their goofy behavior obscures the fact that they have a lot of support, and they mean every word they say.

You are falling for their bluster and exaggerated self-image. I know just how passionate they can get and how little real action they are capable of; they are my neighbors. Myths are only as powerful as the people who believe them. The young rebels of the '60's weren't going to overthrow the system and these old rebels aren't, either.

We'll see in a very short time how much traction this little group can muster--I maintain no more than slick tires on black ice. It may be interesting to watch them spin out, but more likely they'll just end up in a snowdrift and pleading for AAA to come help.

When you make a statement that you'll "die rather than go to prison", you might just want to make sure there isn't someone that basically says "OK, your choice".

Isn't there an old saying: Be careful of what you ask for; you just may get it.?
