Early In-Person Voting Nearing an End

<snip>

The number of Wisconsin residents requesting absentee ballots or voting absentee in the June 5 recall election is nearly three times higher than during the May 8 recall primary.

According to the Government Accountability Board, more than 182,000 residents have requested absentee ballots as of noon Friday. During the May primary, clerks tracked 68,000 absentee ballots.

Voter turnout for the primary was 29.5 percent. The board estimates turnout Tuesday may exceed 60 percent of eligible voters.

In-person absentee voting is set to end at five o'clock Friday afternoon or at the close of business. However, some clerks could extend hours to accommodate high demand.

Clerks will no longer mail absentee ballots. Those already in voters' hands must by postmarked by Election Day, June 5, and arrive in the local election office by four o'clock next Friday afternoon, June 8.

Now in another state. Too bad it was in "Walkersha" County.

This will be close enough to steal and Waukesha has all the tricks (and a corrupt clerk) to do it.

Kathy Nicklaus is not SUPPOSED to be in a position to influence any longer --- but she still is running things because she was not fired, just temporarily demoted, which is not stopping her at all.

Sorry, no link to that article, but it has been reported.

I'll be working the polls Tuesday with dozens of others to be sure there are no shenanigans.

This race will not be won or lost in this county. She is an elected official who can't be fired and she can't be and was not demoted, only asked by county exec to step off elections but she can't be compelled to, I don't know why people keep saying that.

I voted in the reddest of Redlands today and talked to clerk. They've been swamped and, while my vote was for Barrett and Mitchell, I am the exception. There were 3 others there voting with me and they all were in cars sporting Walker signage... Which is a good representation of a statistical sample here, we're about 75% bad.
