Learning from an air conditioner replacement, Michael Savage prefers union contractors.
After watching the PBS NewsHour I tuned to KSTE to listen to the Savage Nation because I didn't want to listen to a rerun of Norman Goldman. It seemed uncharacteristic for there to be a call taken at the top of the hour, and the call was about religion so I tuned to Green 960 for my favorite talk show in this timeslot Norman Goldman. However, this segment was one I'd already heard, about the Jerry Sandusky case. So I went online to WRKO to listen to the 1st hour. Because Savage said last Friday he'd go on vacation in Florida, today was (most likely) a repackaging. (Savage remarked that he can't stand San Francisco when the temperature in winter goes below 39 degrees. Also while KSTE plays the show live WRKO in Boston delays the show 1 hour because of Howie Carr.)
Savage had taken a call and then shared a story about replacing his air conditioner. The contractor, whom he described as "American", advised that some earlier mods made to the AC could've burned the house down. Savage then said that he thought his earlier contractor was unionized, not someone who went to "trade school in Guadalajara".
It's easy for conservatives to take stands in favor of the boss and cheer on union-busting. But at least SOMEONE on the right realized what happens when you hire non-union labor.
