Yep - back to the garbage Newt Gingrich was spewing earlier: "What if (Obama) is so outside our comprehension, that only if you understand Kenyan, anti-colonial behavior, can you begin to piece together (his actions)? That is the most accurate, predictive model for his behavior."

But Mr. Ricketts is continuing to play a provocative role in the effort to defeat Mr. Obama.
He is involved in another effort slated for this summer, a documentary film based on a widely criticized book, The Roots of Obamas Rage by Dinesh DSouza, which asserts that Mr. Obama is carrying out the anticolonial agenda of his Kenyan father.
Mr. Rickettss aides said he was one of roughly two dozen investors, providing only 5 percent of the films budget. But his involvement shows how the more strident attacks against Mr. Obama, which Mr. Romneys aides view as counterproductive, continue to find backing even as the Republican Party and the Romney campaign seek to keep the focus on the economy.

Yet the film Mr. Ricketts is helping to finance, called 2016: Obamas America, is built on the premise that Obama has a dream, a dream from his father, that the sins of colonialism be set right and America be downsized, according to a trailer.
Mr. Rickettss aides also said that he had helped pay for newspaper and Internet advertisements promoting Mr. DSouzas book in late 2010, one of which called it the book the White House doesnt want you to read, and warned, The real Barack Obama is even worse than you think.

When Romney tries to run away from this garbage, we can talk about his close relationship with and BFF Donald Trump - the King of the Birthers who he has hugged tight.

(31,706 posts)Tom "talked" dad into buying the team, but it's daddy's money that bought the team and pays the bills. Be assured that if Tom wanted to get a big money free agent, daddy would have to give the OK.

The Ricketts family has a major problem, and its not the bullpen. Joe is always going to be the dad and Wrigley is always going to need fixing. How they navigate from dad and his politics to Clark and Addison is the issue.
If and when dad says sell the team will be sold. Hopefully the sooner the better for long suffering Cubbie fans...
