Black council-man tased for not leaving when his guests are arrested on his front-porch

http://www.dailykos.com/story/2015/10/12/1431073/-Black-councilman-tased-by-police-in-small-town-where-Sandra-Bland-died

"Bodycam footage from two of the officers involved released Sunday shows the council member, 26-year-old Jonathan Miller, talking with police on Thursday night. Several of his fraternity brothers had just left his house to practice a step routine ahead of homecoming, according to local TV station KHOU, when officers stopped them to question them about drug activity."

According to KHOU, one of the officers said, "There's been drug activity, little girls and little guys in the car doing whatever, so when we see this, we come investigate."

Councilman Miller came out to ask what was happening to his friends.

"Yeah, you see, something something blacks and drugs. And when blacks come into our neighbourhood and start changing their shoes on their friend's front-porch, we just have to arrest them for drug-stuff."

At one point, an officer says that Miller is "always starting problems." After asking him to back up further, they go to arrest him.

So, the cops know the owner of the house. And the people on the front-porch are his guests, not some strangers. And there is no illegal activity going on. So the cops do the only reasonable thing: Arrest every black person for resisting arrest.

Well, the cops didn't kill him. I mean... they deserve some credit for this, right?

One of the cops doing this is black, I think.

So we have two problems, dont we.

Racism duh, runs rampant all over America and especially in police departments

AND

Police have just way way way too much power and the mindset is clearly all fucked up.
