This Sunday about 400 church leaders may resign after it was revealed they were on Ashley Madison.

I do this to extract nuggets of solid gold like this:

The Ashley Madison hack will have a serious effect on churches. According to Ed Stetzer, as many as 400 pastors, deacons, elders and church staff members may resign this Sunday after their names surfaced on the list of users revealed in the Ashley Madison hack.

In a post on his Christianity Today blog, The Exchange, Stetzer said the number is based on “conversations with leaders from several denominations in the U.S. and Canada,” adding, “To be honest, the number of pastors and church leaders on Ashley Madison is much lower than the number of those looking to have an affair.”...

I wonder how many of those pastors made a big deal about how faithful, monogamous gay couples are ruining the sanctity of marriage. I guess this is the proof: just look at how all this gay marriage is forcing these pastors to be hypocrites who lie to the spouse. If only those gay people would find Jesus none of this would ever happen.

good RW evangelical christian shepherds of our multitudinous flocks across the land

The magic of "teh gay" spell is powerful, and causes our good patriarchal shepherds to become maddened with lustful desperation for wanton harlots who use the internets to snare them while they are in the throes of their uncontrollable state of iniquity.

Our patriarchal pastors are then unfairly denounced as hypocrites, and their righteous crusades against LGBT and immoral sirens throughout the land become a joke in the eyes of the populace."
