All The Content On Donald Trump's Wikipedia Page Was Just Deleted

Republican candidate and widespread vitriol spitter Donald Trump had his Google results briefly altered on Wednesday when someone deleted his Wikipedia page, The Verge reported just after noon EDT.

All that was left was the message: "Let's be fair, nobody cares about him."

TPM

Trump is sucking the air of the world yet I can't get enough.

Facts and uncomfortable truths have a way of making some people intolerably edgy some times.

Lightweight lpbk2713 has the mind of a very dumb and backward child. So many things are wrong! Who cares!

checking them to delete stuff that might creep in.

After McCain announced Palin, I checked her page. I only wish I had kept a copy because it was not the same when I went back.

As I kept posting about her (on another board) and kept go back to the wiki for exact wording, I kept noting more changes. I would say it changed at least 5 times during the first two weeks. So, that was another "unsmooth" operator. But, they all do it, just before they go public.

On edit: I now notice this was vandalism.

*emily litella voice* never mind

Anyone can edit a Wikipedia page. That's what happened. When it does, it will be reverted back almost immediately. I suspect that page will be locked down for edits now.

Whenever a page gets blanked so they can check for vandalism.

for vandalism. It's pretty good, too. It can revert a page on its own, and that's probably what happened here. And when it does, senior editors are notified, for sure. Candidates' pages get watched like a hawk for vandalism at Wikipedia. No vandalism will last long.
