Ricky Martin Will No Longer Hold His Charity Golf Tournament at Trump Golf Course

The singer pulled the annual Ricky Martin Foundation charity golf tournament from the Trump International Golf Club in Rio Grande, Puerto Rico, because of its owner's xenophobic statements about Mexicans.
"The decision corresponds to the commitment of solidarity from our founding president to human rights and the Latino community," said Helga García, a spokesperson for Martin, in a press release on Monday....
Since Trump's presidential campaign announcements, Univision and NBCUniversal both dropped the Miss USA and Miss Universe telecasts from their stations. Both pageants are co-owned by Donald Trump. Mexico will not be sending a representative from the country to the next Miss Universe pageant. She joins Miss El Salvador, who announced last week that she would not participate.
