The whole cast is getting up there, it's sad. I was watching a few favorite episodes on You Tube last night, marveling at how young they all were.

She was always one of my favorite Star Trek characters.

It was before Star Trek and the movie was in the late 1950's I think. We forget a lot of Trek actors had careers before Star Trek.
Also saw Nimoy on an Outer Limits episode. Even saw "Bones" in an early western movie.
Some actors complain about being type cast. But there are a lot of actors who would give their right arm to have a part that they are identified with that supported them for their whole life.
