http://www.mittromney.com/issues/gun-rights
Mitt Romney may be pro-guns, but an egregious error on his campaign website indicates that he's anti-copyediting.
First noticed by Facebook user Han Nguyen and shared over 400 times https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=594184757580&set=p.594184757580&type=1&theater since Tuesday, Romney's stance on his "Gun Rights" page includes a rather startling statement (with our emphasis added):
As president, Mitt will work to expand and enhance access and opportunities for Americans to hunt, shoot, and protect their families, homes and property, and he will fight the battle on all fronts to proect and promote the Second Amendment.

It's poor usage and bad editing.

(3,491 posts)6. To eliminate Liberals of course. They can protect their families and shoot those bad Liberals if
they try and attack their families.
RZM
(8,556 posts)7. Of course the message of home defense in intentional
As the poster below pointed out, the error is in the usage, which makes it sound like Romney is encouraging people to hunt and shoot their OWN families. That's the unintentional part.
