Jeb is toast.

Former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush (R) on Thursday offered yet another answer on the Iraq war saying that, given what he knows now, he would not have authorized an invasion of Iraq.

Those comments strongly contrast ones he made on Monday to Fox's Megyn Kelly when he said he would have authorized an invasion. A day later, he backtracked, saying he misheard the question and did not know what he would have done. On Wednesday, Bush said he refused to answer as it would be a disservice to American troops.

But at an event in Tempe, Arizona, on Thursday, Bush gave yet another answer.

"I would have not engaged. I would not have gone into Iraq," Bush said.

Bush's initial comments sparked criticism from likely and declared 2016 candidates. New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie (R), who's strongly hinted at a White House bid, said he would not have gone into Iraq given what we know today. Declared candidate Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) said "of course not" when asked the question.

His answers ranged from defending the invasion to now saying it was a mistake.

They will say he stumbles and stagers a little ,he's only human !
If they decide he's their candidate- he will be forced to agree to strictly fallow the campaign guidelines they stage and he will agree to let them handle the campaign no matter what he likes or dislikes about it. No matter what as the saying goes.

They will reinvent him for the duration of the campaign. Who or hell knows what they will present, it won't be real though !

He actually connected the dots - reminding his viewers and panelists that the guy has paul wolfowitz as one of his foreign policy advisors, as well as the way he seems to worship his idiot brother on Iraq. Which is important. It doesn't matter what kind of verbal two-steps and tap-dancing he tries to do to try to con people into thinking he's not gonna run the kind of utterly disastrous foreign policy his brother did. If he's got that same idiot brother advising him, AND paul wolfowitz aboard this early, I think we know what to expect. And Chris Matthews pushed that one into people's faces today. I was SO gratified to see that!!!!!

messed up, he has do deal with both his father and his brother's past Presidencies. He is not ready for the big time.
I look at their candidates and it's laughable who they are putting forward. They have had so much time to plan and push
the right people forward and this is who they offer the American public. One big clown show.

This 2016 election just keeps getting better, I heard on rachell m tonight that maybe one of the reasons Jeb said he would do just what his brother did is because he was afraid Cheney was watching and former vice pres Cheney still believes in the Iraq invasion.

He probably wants a donut; they put him on a paleo diet and in the few pics I've seen it looks like he's scanning for french fries or something--he looks miserable. His wife gives the worst interview possible, she doesn't "connect" with everyday people (how many spouses smuggle tens of thousands of dollars worth of couture garments through customs? Anyone? Buehler? ) and every single one of his kids has an arrest record. Real charmers.

Not the brightest bulb, certainly.

The GOP support their guy no matter what stupid things they say. What they have today, they had in 2003. Even I knew there were no WMD's. Any idiot knew that. It's well known fact Bush wanted to invade Iraq January 20th 2001.

He won't get to the primaries, IMO. I always thought it was ludicrous for us to be afraid of Jeb. He's just another bumbling Rubio.
