http://kdvr.com/2015/04/29/watch-colorado-heating-and-cooling-company-refuses-to-service-colored-people-in-mountghetto/The Problem Solvers Investigation started with a complaint from an employee at Mile High Heating and Cooling in Westminster who said the company did not service Montbello. The worker said, They call it Mount Ghetto and they dont do business there. Our hidden camera investigation found the workers allegations to be true and that the companys policy about not serving what was once a prominently black neighborhood is talked about openly in their Westminster office.
The companys website claims to serve the entire metro area, but our investigation found Mile High Heating and Cooling does not serve one of Denvers largest neighborhoods. The heating and cooling company advertised job openings for appointment setters so The FOX31 Problem Solvers sent a producer with hidden cameras in for the job....
Then she started teaching our producer how to make cold calls. She said, Heres your Tuesday calls. Under the word Tuesday, the paper said, Montbello 80239 never call which prompted our producer to ask why? Andrea replied, Do you know anything about Montbello? You dont live there do you? We call it Mount Ghetto um colored neighborhood. Andrea went on to explain Mile High Heating and Cooling never cold calls Montbello because she claims the residents dont pay their bills.

as an area would become poorer(also defined as black) advertising in the publications targeted to those areas would dry up.
Eventually the publication would stop as the cost exceeded the revenue.

was always amazed because business density in these areas was much less than in more prosperous areas....MUCH LESS...
and in theory these folks had to shop and buy good from somewhere.
One a side note--when ever some bozo yammers about youth unemployment in central cities talk about business density. Kids can not get jobs from businesses that do not exist....
