At what point should Americans start calling this type of policing terrorism?!

At what point should Americans start calling this type of policing terrorism?!

This article is shocking, it's about the policing in Baltimore... I thought Ferguson was bad...

http://data.baltimoresun.com/news/police-settlements/

The Grand mother

He shoved Green against the wall. She hit the wooden floor.

Bitch, you ain’t no better than any of the other old black bitches I have locked up,” Green recalled the officer saying as he stood over her. “He pulled me up, pushed me in the dining room over the couch, put his knees in my back, twisted my arms and wrist and put handcuffs on my hands and threw me face down on the couch.”

6 million settlement, 6 million in legal fees sense 2011 (not 1964 or some shit).. that's 12 million that could've went towards teachers pay or capital funding for work in the area or tax breaks to bring jobs to the citizens.

Freakin wow...

... and amongst all of this what I've seen through a VERY diverse crowd of 97% peaceful and angry and patience and graceful people who want to make a positive change.

At one time seeing members of the community protect the police !!! (on MSNBC... forget when)

wow... just

shocked at some of those stories in the article

elder abuse. The law is already on the books. This 80 something grandmother won a settlement
and died 6 weeks later. The cop keeps his job. The rot is at the top. DOJ on down to the mayor.

I am glad that you recognize that the rot is from the top down, it seems to me once people receive a position of power they forget where they came from and there is a need for a better vetting process of our so called Politicians.

...terrorism is undertaken by the weak against the strong. What the police are doing is using force and fear to subjugate a minority population in the name of the state.

for a nonviolent offense and let the cops throw a few punches at you. Take a shot to the face for a good photo and an extra million.

Before you know it, budgets for good stuff like programs for the poor and the kids get cut, school budgets get cut, local and state taxes go up, court fees and fines go up, gotta write more tickets doncha know etc. because the settlement $$$$'s gotta come from somewhere.

LOL basically the communities get to pay for their own mistreatment. Hurry, sign me up for some of that, I need to get paid or in the event of my unfortunate demise, my family!

There's some sick, sadistic shit done by some really sick and sadistic assholes going on these days. It must stop! We are running out of patience.

Before WW ll the Germans used the paramilitary for Kristallnact, night of broken glass. Attacks against the Jews that was allowed by their government. After WW ll even though President Truman had put no Nazis order in place the Joint Intelligence Objectives Agency went around the order. First to bring scientists and technicians then later to bring over operatives to fight " communism"
Now after about 60 years our paramilitary has Broken Windows policy even though it is just more covert. The emphasis is to go after small crimes as we can now see with deadly force. The police will not go after major crime one because they are one scared or two they are the criminals. I go with the second. Seeing what goes on in the county where I live? Will they ever arrest themselves? What does the citizens in each city needs to do to control the governments they elect? In Baltimore just months before the death in the van. There was a report on NPR about corruption of the police force there. Since the Patriot Act has been in force the police believe they are the law. The Act needs revised. There needs to be no tolerance of Nazis in this country period. The police must be accountable to populace that they work for. The police need to be checked and reviewed like they do to everyone else that holds a job that is critical. Background checks, no domestic violence charges or bulling, drug checked randomly, and reviewed by regulators.

Lots of people i know are fans of the TV show 'Cops' and are always posturing with a "kick their asses", "shoot their asses", "lock 'em up and throw away the key". Until they get popped for a DWI, or get a traffic ticket or some civil citation, at which time they turn into liberals worried about tyranny, and the like.
