Was the TPP almost impossible for Congress to read??????????
Grayson, Sherrod Brown, Liz, Bernie and perhaps a few others have stated that they could only read the documents under very restrictive terms. Had to read in the room, notes are forbidden, copies are forbidden, hell, I think even staff were forbidden. And I think there was a short time window on top of it.
Now Liz said on Rachel Wednesday that she admits that "she has read the trade deal". Does that mean that she read the dense and long entire bill or law or treaty or ordinance or new world order installation instructions? It would take me perhaps forty hours in that room, if I had the qualifications to understand what I'm reading. Most legislation I've read at the local level is dense and very tedious to absorb. You need a PHD mind and exceptional abilities to concentrate to absorb so much.
And don't most other bills get plenty of time and aren't portions divided up amongst staff members? You would have to be a very dedicated person to read all this stuff for a living. How could one person do it?
And I'm really concerned about the Republican frames discrediting Liz. They practically called her a conspiracy theorist. She's not an alarmist. She doesn't do bullshit. She doesn't three dimensional chess her points. She does it with knowledge and facts and reason an ultimately a compassionate sense of fairness, which has been devalued to nothing in this corporate corrupted perverse humanity is running off a cliff modern way of Oligarchy!
Theres a sound basis rooted in basic principles of fair play in her statements. Unlike our republican friends that rely on the smear tactics of Joe McCarthy against one of the few people in Congress that have the best interests of the vast decent majority of us that just want fairness, and actual responsible stewardship of our planet, instead of burning our near futures to a chrisp because the oil industry has enough power to do so? Pouring gas on the extinction of the planet merely to have more wealth that an average person spending in a thousand lifetimes. Or lives have been won by bullied that can concoct a means to earn a salary of $50,000 an hour, as many of them do!
I write this in response I saw to the remarkable MSM frame on today's Chris Mathews. I have never ever seen Liz discredited in media before. What they accused her of was so astoundingly contrived and convoluted and lying it may mark a turning point, if enough of what Liz is all about reaches the LOW INFORMATION VOTERS. Frankly I have to rewatch just to comprehend it. It was truly beyond my comprehension what they came up with on her. This must be the Oligarch's new clothes I am not a crook at long last sir, have you no shame moment?
