I will say, though, that watching the coverage over the last couple of days - the very thought that there's FINALLY a viable woman candidate for THE Top Job - was just thrillilng!!! I got the "chills"!

(6,251 posts)I dabble in design from time to time. I think that the arrow points to the right because we in the west read from left to right. I think that if the arrow pointed to the left, it would give a feeling of going against the grain, of heading the wrong direction. While we DUers would prefer going left, I think the direction of this arrow is less about political directions and more about gut-level design choices.
