Why are there so many ridiculous, stupid, and regressive right-wing quotes here?

Is it actually harder to come across uplifting and progressive left-wing quotes? I'm a very long-time DUer, and I'm past the point of needing to be outraged yet one more time by stupid and regressive comments by the likes of Pat Robertson, Mike Huckabee, Ted Cruz, Rand Paul, ad nauseum. I now just skip reading such posts. I'm not being critical of the people who post comments by the crazies, I'd just like to see more positive, progressive voices being posted in their place. So I'm asking, is it actually harder to find those?

We spend almost all of our time here mocking RW nutjobs, and almost none discussing issues.

I don't watch television. When I did I wasn't so sensitive to the toxic fog of right wing talking points.

Now that shit is painfully obvious.

Desensitization is a real phenomena.

the fact that the democrats don't seem to be doing anything to that can do any good,
and, they don't seem to scream at the repubs for all their ridiculous comments. It seems
only the repubs doing the screaming at the democrats, but with almost 100% lies.
Why are is our side not screaming back at them? Been wondering this for months now.

If done with a healthy dose of mocking to kick things off with it is not as bad, but still gives unnecessary exposure.

I felt that was like hauling trash into your living room. If I want to see RW quotes or Discussionist nonsense, I know how to get there.
