(3,937 posts)Jon Stewart puts clips from Fox News and a parade of right wing guests (with books to sell) in front of a left-leaning audience. That's it. He is not a politician.

(9,033 posts)Never in a million years. Jon has done his bit to combat the Forces of Darkness, and yet, as he has said himself, Fox News is still here. If he is tired of trying to push that boulder up the hill, how likely do you think it is he will get deeper in the political arena? No way. There is not enough money in the world.

Just had the passing thought given recent events, but who knows a few years down the road.
