Congress needs snorkels !!!

Since that thoroughly unelected puppet. . .

has reeked utter havoc with the *very* semi functionality of our once mostly, representative legislature,

a silly thought just occurred to me. . .

Years ago, we heard that grover had stated his intention to drown the federal government in a bathtub.

At the time, I thought that idea seemed to be a more than slightly curious metaphor. Who would ever think of such a ridiculous physical impossibility?

hmmmmm

Now with foreclosures abounding we've learned that many mortgages were and still are "underwater." Yeah. I understand the depreciation factor versus the enormity of debt. Yet I hadn't heard that precise term before in that context until relatively recently. I'd guess the watery reference has something to do with insolvency. Duh

With the low level of clarity and endless streams of disingenuous tedious talking points masquerading as lively discussions in the halls of Congress, it would seem as though the entire Capital is submerged deeply in obfuscation and more often than not, lacking the oxygen required for any mental clarity or reason whatsoever.

Blubb. . .Blubb. . .Blubb

grover must be so pleased

He most likely, through either coercion or blackmail, now has the loyalty of nearly half of the legislature to never, ever, ever raise taxes on the uber rich, regardless of the seemingly inevitable tragic & dire expenses and suffering of the many.

"Compassionate conservatism" was rolled out well over a decade ago. At the time, it boggled my mind and seemed like nothing more than a devious marketing ploy. I wondered how anyone could believe that compassion could be an attribute to which frugality could ever possibly apply.

Beyond that & very simply, the idiotically inhumane pledge grover demanded of too many reps if they wanted to get elected is apparently totally undermining their oaths of office. . . "to defend against all enemies, foreign and domestic." They are serving something other than the Constitution or by proxy, their constituents.

How the heck is that not tantamount to treason and how do grover and his "pledge-lings" not qualify as economic domestic terrorists ? Just wondering.

I'd only guess that his "pledglings" are promised to be set for life if they only repeat his nonsensical and disingenuous claims. Such as the virtues and terrible woes of the ever elusive "job creators", and the fallacy of the complete insolvency of the so-called "entitlements". Perhaps they lack enough consciousness to have an issue with appearing to be deceitful idiots for a few years in office in exchange for the long term promised bennies far exceeding those of mere civil servants with which they've been taunted. Who knows ?

Unbridled greed truly sucks.

Most terrifically two year olds have learned of the need to share, for compromise, and collaboration.

Sheesh. These bozos act as if there is no such thing.

They have put a stranglehold on progress, until now.

Mostly void of truly representative leadership, with an inane media, the yawn fest of a seemingly perpetual presidential cycle, and outrageously compromised, highly hackable electoral & voting systems, we, the people may just have at least more than a few comical though possibly poignant recourses.

Here is but one.

Perhaps congress may just need snorkels in order to think more clearly in grover's bathtub.

Consider sending them some for Christmas either physically or even more preferably digitally with no text. That would be more ecco friendly.

A wise one once told me long ago in a most ominous moment,

"There will be another flood. . .It will be a flood of ideas."

People have spoken of tin foil hats for a long while.

But in grover's bathtub,

Congress just needs more snorkels. (they could probably use oxygen tanks and maybe even throw in some gillyweed too)

Be creative as ever.

And pssssssssssssssssssstttttttttttttt. . .as long as it costs a zillion times more to get elected than the salaries elected officials actually earn, we will never have a true democracy.

The Brits have caps on Parliamentary campaign spending at 120-150 quid.

Just saying.

Brightest blessings of the season anyhow.

(It has been said that a tyrant can only be brought down by satire. Let's maybe make more in the New Year)
