General Discussion
Related: Editorials & Other Articles, Issue Forums, Alliance Forums, Region ForumsI'm a Hillary supporter but I welcome Warren, Sanders, O'Malley etc. into the primary race,
with open arms. Hillary is far from "inevitable" and I don't want a "coronation". I want tough, vigorous debates. I want the candidates to ask each other the tough questions. I want the candidates' positions on the difficult issues to be fleshed out, not waffled and mumbled prior to changing the subject. I want to see Hillary squirm when asked to explain her IWR vote and Warren to squirm when asked about her Reaganite past. Addressing these things during the primaries is the best way to find the candidate most likely to best the Republican. And who knows, while I support Hillary now I have an open mind and it's perfectly possible that some other candidate will impress me more and end up getting my support.
Here's to a vigorous, hard-fought, sportsmanlike primary season.

(3,580 posts)I will probably vote for Hillary but my mind could be changed. I don't think it helps her or the dem party to have a coronation. Like anyone who gets the nomination, that person needs to earn that vote or it will be hard to mobilize dems to come out and vote in the ge. We are going to need fired up dems to keep the wh.
