"If you are so 'successful,' why did we have to bail you out?"

This should be the response to every whiny 1%-er who claims that raising their taxes is "punishing" them for their success.

Every one of them benefited from TARP and the Federal Reserve's secret $7.7 trillion "loan." Don't let them forget it!

TARP:
Socialize the risks
Privatize the profits

Only to see them turn around and lay off thousands, raise rates and fees on existing customers, undermine efforts to help homeowners, refuse to modify loans, and give themselves huge bonuses for screwing the public over in a myriad of ways. Successful? At being thieves!
One of them patted themselves on the back for being productive. Clearly he has no idea what it means to actually produce something.
