I had surgery for bladder cancer over a year ago, which has not returned; so
this first one was of particular interest to me. Fortunately I live in Oregon,
where we just legalized weed.

the ground or log and are ingested whole mostly .. which was what I was responding
to.

(6,452 posts)an herbal remedy. I think many modern drugs are derived from herbal remedies, aspirin and digitalis being the most obvious/well documented. Unfortunately the US gov't considers it a "substance".

(14,179 posts)the fact that even though both produce a "tar", Marijuana tar is different than Tobacco tar in that it is way more water-soluable, so it dissipates way quicker from the lungs. Add to that the sheer volume of smoke you inhale as a nicotine addict compared to the average pot smoker.
And now, with vaporizers you eliminate the whole tar element anyways.

(1,587 posts)Very effective, no side effects noticed. Pot distilled/infused into glycerin, take a couple of drops on the tongue. Works wonders. Or so I hear.
Not that I actually would do such a thing. Because statute of limitations, yo.
