Jim Clifton is Chairman and CEO of Gallup. Clifton has served as CEO of Gallup, decides that it is

his duty to make comments like this:

"Gallup CEO: I May “Suddenly Disappear” For Telling Truth About Obama Unemployment Rate"

Whether the employment rate calculations are to his liking or not that is how they are calculated, and as a pollster it is especially not his duty to become part of the news. Using words like "Obama Unemployment Rate" shows that Gallop as an organization should not be trusted. In fact these comments made by him actually are a form of influencing public opinion, and a legitimate pollster should stay neutral and NOT inject their personal views on questions that potentially involve polling questions.

The fact that every right wing media outlet, and much of the MSM has picked this up only accents his bias.

Funny that this should come out just when this AP poll comes out:

"AP-GfK Poll: Majority backs Obama's efforts on unemployment"

If Gallup wants any credibility, Clifton should be fired

"Oddly, Clifton doesn't mention that 10,000 people per day are hitting between 65-70 years old"

This is probably the best example of a polling organization trying to influence people's opinion
