I was so enraged that I felt I had to say something. This is what I said.

I was really shocked at your calloused remark to people on the edge of starvation that they should eat rice and beans. Are they supposed to eat the rice and beans at every meal, or just one meal? What are the cheap cuts of meat to throw into it? I can't find any. btw have you even been in the store lately to price rice and beans? They aren't that cheap. Chalk that up to the oil companies gas prices for transporting the goods. Thank George Bush for kissing all those Arab Oil Sheiks. btw They treat their citizens like garbage too.

The average person can't get the same wholesale prices the restaurants get nor do most of them have a space to store them if they buy in bulk especially if they have to live in their cars.
I talk to poor people all the time who eat once a day and they eat rice and beans. They say how hard it is to stay on such a monotonous diet so they often go hungry instead. That includes their children. Little children Mr Hannity!

I challenge you to eat rice and beans everyday at every meal for a week and then come back and say that this is what poor people should do. I wouldn't even ask you to feed your children that way, if you have small children, because you know it would be wrong unless you have no other choice.

Let me thank you and your other GOPTV noise machine hosts for backing the policies that have turned the USA into a third world country complete with institutionalized homelessness and a working poor, many of whom are homeless and many who are vets returned from the oil wars in the Middle East.

I do not remember the quote (someone here will), but the gist of it was that it was that it was incremental. We now invade countries and start wars of aggression, torture, warrantless wiretapping, accessing all emails and web searches. Our corporations think we make too much so they ship our jobs out to 3rd world countries to soften us up to take that job back at minimum wage years later. You cannot buy an American product at Walmart who is making record profits and treats their employees horribly. They are taking our education away, our social safety nets, even shafting our Veterans that they sent out over and over for wars that only made us bigger targets and hated by the rest of the world.
